“LeGarrette Montez Blount” is an American football running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. He was born on December 5, 1986, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (NFL). In 2010, the Tennessee Titans signed him as an undrafted free agent after he went undrafted in the previous year. He has also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New England Patriots, among other teams. Blount ran for more over 1,000 yards in each of his two seasons in junior college, according to his stats. He subsequently committed to play football for the University of Oregon Ducks as a junior for the 2008 season. He rushed for over 1,000 yards and scored a school-record 17 touchdowns during his senior season. Blount was banned for the first game of the 2009 season after striking an opponent and aggressively attacking supporters in the bleachers, one of whom was approaching him with a chair from the seats, after the nationally broadcast season-opening defeat. Despite the fact that the ban was initially declared to be for the rest of the season, he was ultimately reinstated after missing eight games owing to his fulfilment of certain conditions established by the football staff.
